Wind is picking-up and by the end of the day Europa comes alive. She shivers and she cracks.
Rushing
Beaufort 7, with white capped waves washing over main deck, while we enter the darkness of the night. With 9 knots an hour we are rushing towards the Strait of Magellan. If all goed well,
another four days to go before we see land again.
Day off
We all enjoyed a beautiful day at sea. The voyage crew had the night off, and after a lovely evening in the bar they caught up with some extra hours of rest. The permanent crew enjoyed a maintenance free day, and there were no presentations scheduled. Shoes were repaired, trousers stitched and leather knife pouches were made.
