After breakfast, again we divided into small zodiac cruise groups and headed out to the Melchior Islands channels.

After breakfast, again we divided into small zodiac cruise groups and headed out to the Melchior Islands channels. We saw beautiful shaped ice bergs, a very large group of Weddell seals that were happily sleeping on the ice on the channel we were supposed to pass. We got to go back where we came from but the seals were a nice sighting. The ice bergs had it all: Caves, towers, spikes, beautiful patterns of layers and meltwater channels. Amazing last cruise indeed. After the cruise it was time to say goodbye to the calm and sunny Melchior Islands, set the sails and head towards Drake Passage. Beautiful weather, good wind. Life is good here at Bark Europa!
